CHAPTER 6 is a Shanghai-based contemporary art gallery working with artists whose practices investigate the ways contemporary experience is produced, perceived, and remembered.  Across diverse cultural contexts, the gallery brings together artistic practices that engage with systems of images, historical narratives, bodily experience, spatial conditions, and collective structures. Rather than presenting fixed interpretations of reality, these practices examine the shifting relationships between individuals and the social, psychological, and political environments they inhabit.

Through exhibitions, dialogue, and long-term collaborations, CHAPTER 6 fosters critical perspectives on the conditions that shape contemporary life and the ways we understand ourselves, others, and the world around us.
